One time I nibbled on a piece of cheese and my cholesterol went up to 900.

Bald is the new pink; or so I hear...

MRI Update:

Potential new growth in the tumor cavity (most likely from the post-op period until when I started treatment); but the tumor didn't spread to other parts of my brain. Good news.

I has no hair. Hey, Britney Spears did it too.
(Note: I had to shave it. My hair was falling out in clumps and my receding hairline was just sad. See picture below.)

Today I went to the mall. I was wearing a beanie and I walked by one of those kiosks. Unfortunately, a guy trying to sell me some hair product asked me how long my hair was. I laughed and took off my beanie. His response was, "It's okay!" (Not actually sure what that meant...)

-Lesson of today: Don't just assume that people have hair. Some of us lucky ones don't. Hair is overrated.

Also, if anyone feels compelled to buy me this puppy, please, do not hesitate.

I might not be candidate for "pet lover of the year" (real award); but I swear, I would love this dog.
(Sorry, Abe - I do love you too).

We went to Joel's favorite Mexican restaurant in Longmont, La Panda (NOT Chinese food), today on the motorcycles.

Casey is very excited about the motorcycle ride. Good thing you can't tell.

Me, Nathan, May, and Callie drove up to Georgetown last night to spend the night and go on a train ride today for Nathan's birthday. Taylor met up with us this morning. It was rad. Here are some pictures:

First day of intravenous treatment in Denver today. Two full hours of CPT-11 Chemotherapy pumping into my veins.

...BUT I got to do a crossword puzzle.

Oh yes, I did it.

Say, Jo Jo, Callie, May May, Andrea, Jessy and Casey (Casey is currently spoken in a Southern accent) got to witness the beauty of me buzzing my hair before I could lose it... oh yes, I did it.

I went to my radiology oncologist appointment yesterday. I like to call him the "radio" oncologist - it just sounds better. Breaker breaker.

I will start treatment on Monday, October the 3rd and I will have to go 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Thankfully, it is here in Boulder, less than 5 minutes away from my house. They had to mold this weird mask on my face which was NOT an easy process. It was very weird. I made it though!

I love you guys. Alot! - which brings me to my next point, read this please...
