Hello.

I find comfort in this verse...

Revelation 7:15-17

15 “That is why they stand in front of God’s throne
and serve him day and night in his Temple.
And he who sits on the throne
      will give them shelter.
 16 They will never again be hungry or thirsty;
they will never be scorched by the heat of the sun.
17 For the Lamb on the throne
      will be their Shepherd.
He will lead them to springs of life-giving water.
And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

...and this picture of Rizzo the Rat:

Side note: I'm terrible at blogging.

I dropped off the MRI disk at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center yesterday, which is where I will be getting my radiation. The chemo is taken orally. I have an appointment for tomorrow with the radio oncologist (or whatever he is called...). I will keep you posted on how it goes. He seems really cool.

Also, if anyone is curious, my friend showed me this other blog.  A woman who just started treatment for a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. Here is the link: The Helium Burden

LOVE.

  4. Hi Rachel,
I've spoken at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center a couple of times over the years. The professionals I met were all compassionate, expert and dedicated.
    Thinking of you....
